Elizabeth McNear
Elizabeth, currently the Team Dietitian for the Oakland Athletics professional baseball team, is a seasoned nutrition educator and wellness advocate who has built a career managing the intricate connections between nutrition, performance, and long term, holistic wellbeing. With academic roots at Colorado State University where she earned her Bachelor’s in Food Science and Human Nutrition, and Saint Louis University where she achieved a Master’s in Nutrition & Physical Performance, Elizabeth marries scholarly rigor with practical experience.
Her professional journey started in the dynamic world of college sports at the University of Mississippi, University of Florida, and University of California Berkeley, where she was the Director of Performance Nutrition. At these institutions, she collaborated with athletes across a variety of sports, creating bespoke nutritional strategies attuned to the unique demands of each sport and individual athlete.
Joining the Lyceum Project, Elizabeth will help build out our nutritional programming including at our projected physical locations coming soon, and she extends a warm invitation to all who are ready to explore the transformative power of holistic nutrition and wellness at the Lyceum Project!
